She was most proud of her working experience and devoted many years of dedicated service until her retirement.Growing up on the western coast of Michigan's thumb, it didn't take much for the young girl in Betty to become enamored by the water of the bay and the fun it held. If there was some water sports to be had, she was all over it,…especially when it came to swimming. Betty will also be remembered for her immense love of animals. God's furry, four-legged creatures were very precious to her heart and provided her a great deal of joy. And for some real entertainment, there were also those special trips she made to East Tawas to visit dear friends and make the memories that she carried throughout her life. Betty was a member, for many years, of Christian Trinity Church in Eastpointe, and also a member of "Friends of the Eagles." Whether a fraternal association or a social gathering there was never a question that Betty loved to have a good time and thoroughly enjoyed "livin' large." In her earlier years, Betty was renowned for her adventurous spirit and loved livin' on the edge. But as the years passed by, her pleasures became a bit more tame and a bit more simple,…and most of them enveloped by the love of family. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally.Betty was the beloved wife of the late Ellwin. Dear mother of Paul A. (Gloria), Brenda L. (Emil) Brucker, Barbara C. (Ken) Antone, James L.
