Betty Jane Reese, 82, of Warren, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital in Warren. She was born on January 30, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of John and Clara (nee Miotke) Schenk. After World War II, Betty was united in marriage to Frank Reese in Detroit. She was a homemaker and made her home in Warren for over 46 years. She was a member of the Humane Society of the United States and enjoyed gardening, crafts and taking trips to the cider mill. She is survived by her children, Frank (Robin) Reese, Jr. and Karen (Scott) Lidster; siblings, Edward Schenk and Rita . She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank, in 1992; and was also predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Zakorski. No services are planned at this time.
