Boris Peter Muchnij

Boris enjoyed playing violin from a young age. He was a member of the Detroit Fiddler’s Band and performed with them at age 13 at the Detroit Art Institute Auditorium. Boris served as Commissioner for Warren Civil Service Board for over 25 years and was the former Chairman of the Board for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Metro Detroit. Boris was a Senior Development Engineer for General Motors HVAC/ EC Development for 30 years and retired at age 51.

Boris was the beloved husband of the late Arlene. Dearest father of Gregory (Patricia), Susan, Steven (Anne), and Kenneth (the late Ekaterina). Loving grandfather of Janessa, Michael, Sara, Collins, Devan and Nickolai. Adored great-grandfather of Jade and Mila. Cherished brother of Joseph (the late Barbara). Special uncle of Jill (Ron) and Jay (Jade). Dear friend of the late Ted Okon.

Visitation for Boris will be held on Saturday, November 15th from 10:30am-11:30am with a Funeral Service at 11:30am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI.

Memorial donations in Boris' name are appreciated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
