Brian William Blake

Brian William Blake, age 37 a lifetime resident of Grosse Pointe died Sunday, November 13, 2011. Brian was born September 23, 1974 in Rochester Hills, Michigan the son of William F. Blake and the late Mary Ann (nee: Stechschulte) Blake. Brian was raised in Grosse Pointe and graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School the class of 1992. He went on to University of Michigan where he received a degree in engineering and later entered Wayne State University to further his studies in medicine. Brian worked as a medical salesman serving physicians.Brian was the beloved son of William F. and the late Mary Ann Blake. He is also the dearest brother of Patricia (Atanas) Ilitch, and dear uncle of Christian, Patrick, and Blake Ilitch. Brian was the cherished grandson of Bernard & Mary Stechschulte, and the late John & Anne Blake. Also surviving are many loving relatives. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday November 18th at St. Ambrose Catholic Church 15020 Hampton Street in Grosse Pointe Park, at 11am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Timothy R. Pelc.
