Bruce John Michalak, age 49, of Warren, died Friday, July 18, 2008 at his home. Bruce was born May 23, 1959 in Detroit the son of Norbert and Jane (nee: Karaniewski) Michalak. He was a very spritual person who enjoyed spending time with his family. His family said he was a very kind, loving, giving and considerate person. His hobbies included cooking, writing, and music. He had a saying, "You're rich in soul, not in money." Bruce is survived by his parents, Norbert and Jane; sibilings, Sharon (Raymond) Ellerbe, and Linda Michalak; one nephew and several nieces. Bruce was predeceased by his brother, Michael. Visitation will be held Tuesday 5-9 pm with a 7 pm Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). He will lie in state Wednesday 9:00 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Officiating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny.
