Beloved husband of the late Barbara, Bud was a devoted family man whose greatest pride and joy was the life he built with those he loved. He was the loving father of Michael Ohsiek, Marlene McDonald, Jacqueline (the late James) Greco, Christine (John) Cochill, Rick (Julie) Ohsiek, and Corinne Kirchler.
He was a proud and cherished grandpa to Taylor, Lauren, and Tyler (Emily) McDonald; Brett and Rachel Greco; Brianne Cochill; Ashley (Drew) Stauffer; Trevor, Brandon, and Sean Ohsiek; and Samantha and Haylee Kirchler. He was also a delighted great-grandpa to Allora and Rosalie, who brought him immense happiness.
Bud was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Walter and Bernadine Ohsiek. He briefly served his country in the U.S. Army, an experience he carried with quiet pride throughout his life.
A longstanding member of the Snow Owl Club, Bud built lifelong friendships and was known for his easygoing nature and love of good company. He was an avid bowler and a passionate baseball fan, even trying out for the Detroit Tigers in his younger years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing poker, and socializing—all activities that could conveniently enjoyed with a cold Budweiser.
Bud will be remembered for his warmth, his sense of humor, and the countless memories he created with family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
