Carmine was the beloved husband of the late Geraldine Maresco, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Chris (Cheryl) Maresco and Stephen (Sharon) Maresco. He was a loving grandfather to Nicole (Michael) Hanson, Andrew (Josh) Maresco, Evan Maresco, and Dallyn Maresco, and a proud great-grandfather to Nathan Hanson and Audrey Hanson.
Carmine proudly served his country in the Korean War in the United States Army. Following his military service, he enjoyed a long career with GM Fisher Body, where he eventually retired after many years of dedicated service as a shop foreman.
A devoted family man, Carmine cherished the time he spent with those he loved and took great pride in his family. He was a faithful and religious man who always belonged to a church and carried his faith throughout his life. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner, reflecting his commitment to fellowship, service, and community.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, at 12:00 pm followed by a service at 1:00 pm, in the chapel at Grand Lawn Cemetery, 23501 Grand River Avenue, in Detroit.
