Carol Fay Buckner

Carol Fay Fulkerson Buckner, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 4, 2022 in Warren, MI. Carol is survived by her daughters Bonnie (William) Weir and Rhonda (Neil - deceased) Moon; grandchildren William Buckner (Alexis) Weir, Elizabeth (fiancé Nicholas Payne) Weir, Peter Moon and Callie Moon; great grandchildren Grant, Avery and Luke Weir; sisters Phyllis Terrell and Glenda (John) Kreger and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Gene Edwin Buckner; father William Dudley Fulkerson and mother Cora B Chinn Fulkerson.

She was a virtuous and honorable woman who loved the Lord, her family, church and many lifelong friends. She dedicated her life to her family, with whom she enjoyed singing and watching them grow and flourish through the years.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 10th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters on Schoenherr in Warren, MI. Funeral Service is scheduled for 12 PM on Friday, February 11th at First Baptist Church of Hazel Park, MI, with a brief visitation at 11AM. Graveside chapel service, 3:30PM, at Cadillac Memorial Gardens on Garfield Rd in Clinton Township.
