Carol Marlene Milostan

Carol Marlene Milostan age 84 died Thursday October 13, 2016 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Carol was born June 26, 1932 in Highland Park Michigan the daughter of the late Gordon R. Barwick and the late Clara (nee: Spleet) Barwick.Carol was raised in Highland Park and following her graduation from Highland Park High School she found employment with Chrysler Motors in her home town. Carol worked as a secretary before marrying. Carol married and started a family becoming a homemaker to raise her children.After Carol's children were grown she returned to the workforce again working as an admissions secretary for Father Murray Nursing Center in Center Line and later for the Bortz Healthcare company.Carol enjoyed her time working and also enjoyed her down time at home listening to music especially Prince and Barry White. She loved to be surrounded by her family and grandchildren sharing fun stories, drinking her beer, and puffing on an occasional smoke. Carol also loved to dance when out at a family function wedding or even the bar. Additionally she held a secret crush for Burt Reynolds and enjoyed watching all his movies.Carol was the loving mother of Michael (Susan) Vinch, Nancy (John) Giurlanda, Daniel (Pam Ritter) Vinch, and Carla (Dan) Reardon. She was the cherished grandmother of Nikole, Justin, Sarah, Lauren, Samantha, and great grandmother of Addelyn, Oliva, and Ava. Visitation for Carol will be Sunday from 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 1/2 mile). Funeral Services will be held Monday 11am at the Funeral Home. Please share memories of Carol at her memory book above.
