

Carol Virginia Parker, age 71 of Warren and Arizona, died Sunday, October 03, 2004 at E.T. York Hospice House in Gainesville Florida. Mrs. Parker was born October 01, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Carl Killian and the late Virginia (nee: Lundy) Killian. She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Lynne) Parker, Kelly (Skip) Spaulding, Susan Hunter (Mike Sayen), Betsy Parker (Larry Horvath), Maureen Hawley, Matthew Parker, and Janice Parker. She is also the loving grandmother of Brannyn and Dear sister of Kaye Fuller, and Diane (Mike) Ustick. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Earl W. Parker, and her parents. Mrs. Parker graduated from Detroit Northwestern High School, and then married the love of her life Earl Parker. She sold real estate for many years, working for Earl Keim in Warren and then selling real estate at ERA in Clinton Township. After retirement she volunteered with Hospice of Michigan. Mrs. Parker cherished her family, but also loved the casinos playing the slots. She enjoyed golf, playing scrabble and crosswords, dabbling in the stock market and playing bridge with her bridge club. Mrs. Parker loved life and traveling. She enjoyed her winters in Arizona and her summers in Michigan and also taking ocean cruises. She and her husband were inseparable, but all her friends considered Carol their best friend because they knew Carol was always there for them. Visitation for Mrs. Parker will be Thursday October 7th from 2-9 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common, (12 mile). A Rosary service will also be held Thursday at 7 pm. Mrs. Parker will lie in state Friday October 8th, 9:00 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, until time of Funeral Mass 9:30 am. Officiating the funeral Mass will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
