

Casimere W. Dyrda age 90 died August 15, 2012 at the Sanctuary of the Abbey Nursing Home in Warren, two weeks shy of his 91st birthday. Casimere was born August 28, 1921 in Hamtramck Michigan the son of the late Julian and Catherine Dyrda.He was raised in the Detroit area and later served his country with the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Dyrda worked as a tool and die maker for Chrysler Motors before retiring. Mr. Dyrda was a homebody who enjoyed simple pleasures in life and also had a passion for dancing with his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Dyrda would dance every weekend at Wanda Park to the late night Polka music.Mr. Dyrda was the beloved husband of Florence Amelia 'Minnie' Dyrda, and the dear father of Chris (Barbara) Dyrda, Kenneth Dyrda, and Karen Dickson. He was the loving grandfather of Renee, Nicolas, Shelley, Carrie, Katie, Thomas, and great-grandfather of Sydney. Mr. Dyrda was predeceased by his parents and siblings. Visitation for Mr. Dyrda will be Friday from 5-9pm, with a 7pm evening Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile). Mr. Dyrda will lie in state Saturday 9:30am, at St. Sylvester Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10am.
