Cecil M. Robinson

Cecil M. Robinson age 100, of Troy formerly of Center Line died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at his home. He was born February 14, 1909 in Stratford, Ontario the son of the late Frederick and the late Annie Robinson. While growing up in Stratford, Cecil enjoyed playing Junior Hockey. After moving to the United States Cecil and Violet lived on a farm then shortly after moved to Detroit. Cecil became a Tool & Die Maker at Super Tool where he worked for several years and retired from. He was an avid gardner. He always loved to play cards and go bowling. Cecil also had a love for animals. He especially loved cats and birds. Cecil is survived by his son, Charles Robinson; grandchildren, Charlotte (Bret) Barel, Elizabeth Robinson, and John Robinson; great grandchildren, Chad, Grant, and Ethan. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Violet; and daughter in law, Carol. Mr. Robinson will lie in state Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at First United Presbyterian Church, 3000 East Twelve Mile Road in Warren, until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the D.S.
