Chad was a kind, humble, and private man who lived a life he was deeply content with. He was the type of person you could always count on — someone who never seemed to know the word “no” and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
A dedicated carpenter by trade, Chad took enormous pride in his work. He was a true perfectionist who approached every project with skill, patience, and respect for others. He enjoyed teaching those around him the craft he loved and was a natural leader both on and off the job site.
Outside of work, Chad found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved golfing with friends at Maple Lane and cherished fishing trips on Lake St. Clair with his boss and dear friend, Tommy. While he loved fishing, he equally enjoyed the peaceful views from his friend’s boat. Above all else, Chad loved his children more than anything in the world. Matthew and Shayla were his pride and joy, and he was immensely proud of them. As they grew up, they shared many memories together attending Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings games. One of Chad’s final special moments was enjoying a Tigers game for his birthday this past Sunday. Chad also remained close with his sister, Linda, throughout adulthood. Together they often reminisced about the wonderful childhood and happy memories they shared.
Becoming a grandfather opened a beautiful new chapter in Chad’s life. He treasured every moment spent with his grandson, Cody, especially play wrestling and shooting hoops together at the little basketball hoop in the backyard. A beloved son, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, Chad will be missed dearly by all who survive him
