

Chester R. Beres "Pete", age 82 of Warren, died at home on August 16, 2012. Pete was born December 13, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Stanley and the late Monica (nee: Wieczarek) Beres. Pete proudly served as an artillery man in the United States Army during the Korean War. Pete loved to go fishing and hunting during his younger years, and although he never got a deer, he loved spending time with nature. Moreover Pete was also known for his bowling abilities. Pete was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, and was very involved and volunteered countless hours helping Laverne's Loving Angels and with The Realm of Darkness Haunted House. Pete was the beloved husband of the late LaVerne. Dear father of Denise (Brian) Siess, Richard (Darlene), and John (Joan). Loving grandfather of Stacey (Alan) Finley, Kevin (Haccy) Siess, Kristen, Amanda, Chelsea, Thomas, Ashley, and Alex. Great grandfather of Austin and Alexa. Brother of Dolores Zajac, and the late Eugene and Donald. Visitation for Pete will be Friday from 3-9pm with a 7 pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile Road). He will lie in state Saturday 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church.
