Chris Edward Taylor

Chris was married to the love of his life, Patricia, for 27 years until her passing in 1990. Together, they had three daughters, Bridget, Deborah, and Tina. He worked for himself as a painter until he was no longer able to do so. He also enjoyed tending to the flowers outside his home in Michigan before taking a break to head to Panama City, Florida for a month out of the year.  Also in his travels, Chris would make his way to his favorite yearly event, the Kentucky Derby. He would place his bet every year on his favorite horse, but only $2. Chris also loved going to the Hazel Park Race Track. As a huge movie buff, he would go to the movie theater a couple times a week. He loved music, as he listened to a wide variety. Chris was also a big fan of baseball, especially the New York Yankees. He even had a room in his home decorated with different team pendants. Chris was a football fan as well with his favorite player being Raghib Ramadian"Rocket" Ismail- the fastest runner in the NFL. He could sit and excitedly watch YouTube videos of “Rocket” running across the field all day. Chris had a creative side to him. He enjoyed spending his free time writing songs and poems, even writing a poem for his wife Patricia for Mother’s Day. The memories and time spent with Chris will be treasured forever. He will be missed immensely and loved eternally by his family.

Chris was the beloved husband of the late Patricia. Loving father of Bridget (fiancé Howard Straight) Taylor, Deborah (Dennis) Gerbe, and Tina (Frank Wojnarski) Taylor. Cherished grandfather of Brittany Taylor-Trapani and Gillan Gerbe. Adored great-grandfather of Alice Lestate. Dear brother of Beverly (the late Rod) Pessina, the late Shirley (late Clayton) Melton, and the late Charlie Grabman.

Visitation for Chris will be held Saturday, May 1st from 11:00am until the time of his Funeral Service at 1:30pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093.
