Clara Mary Kuhr, age 94 of Rochester Hills, died Sunday, February 06, 2005 at Mercy Bellbrook Nursing Home in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Mrs. Kuhr was born August 12, 1910 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Anton Louis Kallan and the late Magdalena Ava (nee: Balog) Kallan. Mrs. Kuhr is the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Kuhr. Loving mother of Clara (Richard) Danko, Frances (Richard) Schlacht, and the late Joseph Kuhr. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Mrs. Kuhr worked as a secretary at the Hamtramck Board of Education and also as a sales clerk at the Vanity Fair Store. Visitation Tuesday 3-9 pm. Funeral Services for Mrs. Kuhr will be Wednesday February 9th, 10:30 am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 mile). Officiating the funeral will be Rev. Fr. Donald Sopiak. Memorial Donations appreciated to Alzheimers Association of Michigan or Mercy Bellbrook Hospice. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
