Daniel Richard Favreau

Daniel Richard Favreau, age 69 of Warren, died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 22, 1945 in Monroe, Michigan, son of the late Louis and the late Leola (nee: St. Bernard) Favreau.With thanks & praise from a grateful nation, we pay homage to Daniel for answering the call to duty with patriotism and standing in harm's way with valor as a soldier in our great United States Army during the Vietnam War era. We honor his service to our country and extend our posthumous gratitude for the sacrifices made while carrying out his duties.In 1971, Daniel's life was pleasantly and wonderfully changed when he asked his beloved Donna to be his wife. The two lovebirds shared a warm and precious relationship until her passing a few years later.Growing up and attending school in the town of his birth, Daniel was a proud graduate of Monroe High School's Class of 1964. Following his education, Daniel's work history included a number of different fields throughout the years to include that as pest control technician, security officer,…and occasionally exercising his skills as a professional photographer.When he wasn't working, Daniel enjoyed a number of varied pastimes and hobbies. From his interest and fascination with astronomy, radio-controlled airplanes and scuba diving,…to his talents and craftsmanship with woodworking, Daniel's down times were always filled with eclectic pleasures. Yet the pastime that trumped them all was found in his love of the outdoors and his role as an avid sportsman. He loved shooting his guns, especially when it came to trap and target shooting. And like many outdoorsy guys, Daniel thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of fishing. There was always something special about spending some quiet time at a favorite fishing hole.Yet of all the joys in Daniel's life, spending time with his treasured family and friends reigned supreme. Didn't really matter what they were doing,…simply that they were doing it together. He touched a multitude of hearts and lives along the way, and leaves a legacy that will be cherished with each remembrance shared. He will be missed immensely and loved eternally. Daniel was the Beloved husband of the late Donna, and cherished father of Jamie (Chris Boudrie) Favreau. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.Visitation for Daniel will be held Thursday, April 9th from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren.
