Daniel grew up in Allen Park and Warren, where he attended Cousino High School. He went on to work as a welder at Chrysler, dedicating 30 years to his craft before retiring in 2008.
Daniel had a passion for the simple joys in life. He loved playing pool and never missed a chance to get his hands in the dirt each spring, planting flowers that made his home come alive with color. Family gatherings were often filled with laughter around a card table — a tradition he cherished. Known for his quick wit and one-liners, Daniel had a warm sense of humor that brightened any room.
In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing trips with his cousin Frank — quiet mornings spent casting lines and making memories. Later in life, he found constant companionship in his beloved chihuahua, Nicki. He adored him and rarely went anywhere without him by his side.
Daniel’s presence, humor, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Daniel was the beloved son of Irene and the late Eugene. Loving brother of Mary (Don) Borle, Debra (Mike) Palko, Diane (Jim) Olley, and Joanne (Nathan) Benton. Cherished uncle of 8 nieces and nephews and great-uncle of 7 great-nieces and nephews.
Private Family Services for Daniel will be held at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren.
