I knew Danny back in the late 70's and early 80's when we all lived in Detroit. Dan lived on Regent and I lived on Edmore, very close. We hung around with a group of girls from Regina HS, and used to all go to the Sunday night teen dances at Roma Hall on Gratiot and 10 mile. Danny also played baseball with my brother, Brian. We used to have a lot of fun outside on hot summer nights, as very few had air conditioning back then. I found out that Dan passed because I saw his brother's name in the paper yesterday as he too has passed. 
 All I can say is that Dan was a very nice, and fun guy to be around. Although he is dead almost 10 years, the news saddens me. May he rest in Peace.

I was extremely saddened to hear about the passing of an old friend who, along with others, made the love of Christ Jesus real to me and changed the course of my life. I met Danny on a retreat in April 1985 and had the privilege of briefly serving under his leadership and seeing God bless a number of people through him. I cant say how God was using Danny during the past fifteen to twenty years outside of these retreats, but I must say that his friendship and the service he provided all those years ago is priceless to me. You cant put a price on God-centered friendships and you certainly can not put a price on God's love and the gift of salvation that comes only through Jesus. I thank God for Danny and will definitely miss him along with the future opportunities in ministry I hoped we might still have.

The news of Dan's passing really saddened us. Dan was a great man and will be missed very much. He had a way about him that was so giving and so kind. Although we haven't seen Dan in a lot of years he was thought of often. We frequently got updates from Vic and Dr. Ray on what Dan was up to over the years. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We love you Dan.

I only heard about Danny's death a few weeks ago from Amy. Terry pointed me to this guestbook when I told him how difficult it was to find out about his death so long after the fact. What an honest tribute so many have left here! I think it has probably been 20 years since I have seen Danny, yet he comes back to me in such real from through these memories. How blessed we all were to have known him.

I have never met Danny personally but have had numerous phone conversations with him throughout the years as our jobs crossed as "club accountants". His job efficiency as he answered my questions coupled with the fun conversations regarding Polish traditions or common friends were always a nice break in the workday. I will definitely miss those calls! To his family, you are in my thoughts and prayers and may you find comfort in the fact that God now has a very special angel looking over all of you! Dan "The Emperor" Tuladzieck, you were truly one of a kind. You touched a lot of people, probably more than you ever realized. You will be greatly missed.

My dear sweet friend what are we going to do without your sweet smile as you were walking down to the beach at Port Huron.It will never, never be the same. You were a good and gentle man Danny. I met Danny in 1985 or 1986. He immediately befriended me  despite my terrible 80s haircut! I saw him intermittently over the next few years and then unfortunately lost contact with him for the next 20 or so years. Sadly, I cant remember any specific interaction that I had with Danny, but whether he hugged me when I needed it, offered advice or comforted me when I was sad, he left an impression on me that I can feel in my heart to this day. I am saddened to hear of Dannys departure from this earth, but I am comforted to know that he is where he belongs  in heaven with all of the other saints. May God bless you, Danny. You will be missed.

Danny my dearest friend I will miss you greatly. You were the kindest, most loving person I ever met You were always by my side the summer of 1983 before I left for the Air Force. When people pass away, quite often others say things like "He was a great guy." or "He was the nicest guy I know.". In Danny's case this was the absolute truth. He was a great guy and he was the nicest guy I knew. When DT walked in somewhere everybody smiled. I really wish I had known him better. He will be greatly missed.

I did'nt know Danny real well but what i did know of him he was a great person my cousins best freinds he will be missed. My deepest sympathys to his family and friends.

I worked in the kitchen at OHCC for five years and got to know danny over the years while I was there.I was so sorry to hear about the unfortunate news about danny's passing.My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Carol and I are very proud to say he is our friend and favorite golf buddy. Dan has touched so many people in so many different ways, words cannot describe. He has long been considered part of our families and his memory will never fade. Its sad the time we have had together was short, but his impact on Carol and I will last forever. Edward and Michael: We are very sorry for the loss of your dear brother Danny. We met Danny years ago through our son, John Francis, who worked with him at the Westin. Since that day, we have considered Danny just like one of our sons. DT, I don't know where to start. You, my friend, are truly one-of-a-kind. Danny will truly be missed by us and our family. He was the guy who always had a huge smile and something to talk wonderfully about with you. His laughter was contagious and his love was pure and warm. He was there whenever you needed a helping hand or just someone to talk to. Even if you hadn't seen him for a while, he was there like you had just seen him yesterday. The Lord took back a very loving human being when He called Danny back home. Who knows, maybe God said it was time for one of us to depart and he probably said, "Oh, I'll go Lord. Let those other guys stay for a while longer." This is how Danny was. Danny was a marvelous and caring person. There was not a single moment when he did not have a hello and how are you? for the person he was with. If we ever had a question or concern, he was sure to address it right away and never missed calling you back with a happy hello. I met Dan when my sister Amy was attending Wayne State. I would go to school with her when I had a day off. It seemed Amy and Dan 9and friends) were never in class. They were always in the Student Center playing euchre!! Dan was always very kind to me. Even though he was like a big brother to me, I had a huge crush on him (who wouldn't)! He even earned page in my scrapbook. I had pictures of him from high school and a queen of hearts card that he gave me. That's how he treated me. Always kind and loving and thoughtful.Thanks for the memories Dan.

When I think of our friend Danny, I can truly say that he not only lived, but, personified this prayer: Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; when there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand, to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying [to ourselves] that we are born to eternal life. That's Danny to a T! A feat that very few people I've known have ever been able to do. The world lost a bright light on December 7th, but all of our hearts are brighter for knowing him. In reading through the guestbook, I noticed that several people mentioned that Danny was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back. Actually, he did just that. I will always remember the time he took his beloved yellow shirt he had worn on so many retreats and cut it up into little hearts to pass out during a service skit. Truly, the love of God poured forth from his life and I will always treasure the beautiful reflection of Jesus Christ I found in Danny's friendship. Peace and grace be with all his family.

I thank the Lord for the time that I knew our Danny. We were part of that famous Westin crew that worked the front lines, I mean front desk all those years ago. I could count on my dear friend to make me laugh when I wanted to cry. He held me together through some trying times. He had such a big heart, big smile and big laugh. My sympathies to his family, he will be missed. But we can rest assured that he is with our Heavenly Father. God Bless.

I have never met a man so generous or kind. He was smart to! Once at the Soaring Eagle Casino Danny walked in and put money in a slot and won $500 on his first pull. He bought us all a round of beer and left with his winnings. Now that was pure genius. We were also the golf champs of the MBCA two years running. While you may have left us here are on earth you will always be in my heart. God bless and I will see you latter at the Pearly Gates, please give a good word for me with Saint Peter.

What a great man, I truely believe Danny would give his shirt off his back for someone. He will be greatly missed.

To Dan's family, my sincere condolences. Our lives went in separate directions, and sadly it has probably been 20 years since I saw Dan. My memories of him only echo the sentiments expressed by everyone else. He was a true friend, a complete gentleman, and a fine example of how to live life. Gone but not forgotten, your memories will continue to inspire those whose lives you touched. Rest well.

Please give our condolences to Danny's family and friends. We knew him through his job at Oakland Hills. What a kind and thoughtful person! He always would be so helpful and take the time to chat even though he was busy. He will truly be missed at Oakland Hills.

You could call Danny with any question about almost any TV show or movie and he would know the answer - He'd also sing you the theme song and tell you all kinds of extra stuff about the show. Working at the Westin all those years would not have been the same with Danny around. They don't make any nicer than him. Even though we hadn't seen him in awhile, we will miss him. You can't think of him and not smile.

I still can not believe that you are gone. I can not wrap my mind around it. Some people spend their entire lives wondering if they have made a difference in this world. Those of us who knew Dan can testify to the fact that Dan made a difference with every person he met. Every person who met Dan was made richer by the experience. No one walked away without having gained something, and in this selfish and self centered world, that was truly remarkable. For Dan, giving was its own reward. But Dan was not altruistic. He got more pleasure from giving than the people that he was so generous to. We are all familiar with Scrooge form A Christmas Carol. Dan was very much like the Scrooge character after the visit from the three spirits. Dan honored and remembered the past, he spread love in the present, and he planed to spread love in the future. If Dan had ever won the lottery, he probably would have set up a charitable foundation. But instead of giving to the needy, Dan would have given to any one who asked. No words can express the loss I feel. I do, however, take comfort in the knowledge that Dan, reunited with his mother and father, is enjoying God's loving embrace.

Dan was one of the greatest guys I ever meet. He will be missed and was truly a friend with a giving and caring heart.Being a member at Oakland Hills gave me the opportunity to meet this great man. I am sure he is in heaven looking down on us.

My heart goes out to danny's brothers and family. I knew Danny from a church group we were in back in the 80's. Danny was one of the most kind and gentle people I have ever known. We used to have something called secret prayer pals, some how Danny always got my name, he used to send me flowers, gifts and cards. Sometimes I think he spent most of he paycheck on gifts. Danny was one of the most kind, generous, and gentle souls I have ever met. When I told my 10 year old daughter he had a heart attack, she said: mom I think a heart attack is when God reaches down and grabs someones heart. I think she's right. I have not seen Danny for over 32 years and was shocked of his passing! We grew up in the same neighborhood and I coached him when he played softball for Marbud during summer break. He was always a kind and caring soul! My condolences go out to his family, but we must remember that Danny went home to be with Jesus! Danny we will meet again, till then God Bless you.

Danny was like glue - trying to keep people together. He was like a shepherd - always taking care of or helping someone. I still smile when I think of Dan gathering everyone in Notre Dame's parking lot to caravan to the Thanksgiving Day Parades. Or burning up the dance floor at East Warren the night before the parade. Dan brought joy into so many lives; touched so many lives; loved so many in such a selfless way. Dan was the "care power" in so many of our lives. My life is so much richer for having known him. What better guardian angel could there be than Dan Tuladzieck. My prayers are with his brothers at this time. May God be with you.

Dan was always such a warm and wonderful guy. Not only willing to help, but able to help as well. It was always one of my highlights to drive over to Fiori Hardware on Gratiot and shoot the breeze with him before making my purchases. And the time we spent together in Search was priceless. Maybe they'll rename St. Daniel Parish in Clarkston as St. Daniel Tuladzieck Parish.

I want you all to know that Danny is a little irritated right now at all the fuss being made, but he will get over it! In over 25 years I have never heard Danny utter an unkind word about another person. What I know is that he was a kind, gentle, giving, compassionate man with no equal. What my faith tells me is that Our Lord wants him closer so He can tap those exceptional qualities. Danny, you will now know the tremendous impact you had on this world. BFF I love you.

I met Danny at the bus stop at Cass & Forest during my first semester at Wayne State University in 1981. In talking, we discovered that we had many of the same friends from Notre Dame H.S. and we all began hanging around in a big group. Like Danny and me, many of them would eventually make the Search for Christian Maturity retreat. We shared lots of good times together (most of which were planned by Danny): bowling leagues, softball games, visits to Mother's in Windsor, trips to Cedar Point, hanging out at the Ram's Horn on 8 Mile, the list goes on... I think that he would be happy that he brought the gang together one more time.

Albert and I are both shocked and saddened. So many memories....for us both it is BASEBALL!!! Everyone loved Danny. He was always positive and always had a smile. Pub nights & old songs...fun stuff! For me...it is our 'search' days....Danny was truly the nicest guy. He thought of everyone else first!! He was always there with a hug and a kind word. Danny...YOU ARE LOVED! I hope you can feel it :) Fun memories....Chuckie Cheese, dancing, Thanksgiving Day Parades and downtown visits....I will miss you!!!

Danny T. will be missed by my sons, David and Daniel and especially by me. He was the most cooperative person I have ever met in a Country Club. As someone else put it, I truly think Danny is quite upset with us for making such a fuss and shedding tears for him. He would want us to smile and I am smiling because I am a better person having known him. I am just so sorry I won't get to chat with him anymore. Danny the Best Man at our wedding. He was truly one of the greatest guys I have ever known. He was always very loving and caring and made people feel very special. Even after a long day's work, he would sit at our daughter's softball games and cheer them on. Danny will truly be missed and always remembered by our family. Danny was probably about 16 or 17 when he worked for me at Pic-Way Shoes on 8 mile in Detroit. Even though it had been about 30 years since I had seen Danny, I easily recognized his picture by that fun, boyish smile he always displayed. Danny was a hard worker, a good friend, and we are all better for having known him.

Danny was a wonderful giving soul and a bar setting example of what a true human being should be. I met Danny playing softball, he was a great teammate and also a very good bowler. He took care of me and my wife when we got married he got us one of the best rooms at the Westin complete with champagne and strawberries of course. Needless to say that my heart is in pieces after learning about Danny's passing. God broke the mold after he made you Danny. You had the biggest heart, and you were so willing to share it. I'm sad that I didn't get to see you over the years, but I have this overwhelming feeling that you're here as I sit and write this. That's how strong your spirit is. So sorry to hear of Dan's sudden death. I have many fond memories of him in college. I haven't seen him in recent years, but always think of him with affection. All my sympathy in this difficult time.

I worked with Dan at Fiori Hdwe. more than 20 years ago. I remember him as a kind and patient guy who was quick to laugh. I also remember the he had good friends who appreciated him for all of his good qualities. I ran into Dan a few years ago and had a few laughs talking about our days at Fiori's. While I did not have the pleasure of counting him among my friends in the intervening years, I mourn his passing.

What a nice man and a great friend to my daughter, Libby! Danny will be missed.

Danny was very well liked and very well respected around Oakland Hills. I had a number of dealings with him over the years and never heard anyone say a bad thing about him. He will be missed. Danny was one of the good ones.

We were introduced to Danny through our good friends Carol and Paul Wilson. We spent time together at social events such as weddings and birthday parties. This past fall, Danny joined us for a golf outing at Fern Hill and a barbecue at our house. It was truly an honor to know him and we offer our thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.

Danny, You will be missed around the clubhouse. Many people still dont believe that you are gone. I will miss the Many Jokes, Laughs, And smiles. God bless your family in this time of need.

Most of us spend our entire lives trying to find our purpose. We know Danny's purpose in this life; to teach the rest of us how to treat one another. NO ONE is as kind, thoughtful and considerate as Danny. To say he will be missed is a profound understatement. He cannot be replaced. We all need to pitch in and do one random act of kindness each day to somewhat fill the void left by this gentle man. We love you, our friend. Now that you are in a better place, pray for us that you left behind.

I was shocked and saddened when I heard of Danny's passing. I have read several of these mentioning that Danny always gave the shirt off his back. I think I have several of his shirts and now know I need to give those on to someone else. Danny was like the big brother I never had. Always taking care of me. He even rented a tux for me for a prom once. (A white one! with tails) Maybe he did that to get a laugh. I know when I think of him I will always smile. I will always remember the poker nights, (The one area he never took mercy on me)The Rocky and John Wayne movies, golf, and the trips downtown to see my sister. Danny I miss you and Love you very much. I wish I could be there to pay my respect to such a great man but the distance is too great. God Bless!

My deepest sympathies go out to the Tuladzieck family. I hired Danny T in 1987 (I belive) he was the hardest working person I ever worked with. He was also the nicest person I ever worked with. I will never forget Danny or how he used to call me Ms. Hanna. I love you Danny and I will never forget you...your the BEST!

I am terribly saddened by the passing of this good man. I worked with Danny at The Westin and while many years have passed since then, I clearly remember his unfailing cheerfulness, willingness to help others, and his integrity. My deepest condolences to Danny's loved ones.

A great friend...A HUGE help!! Always there doing above and beyond. Never at a loss of words! Amazing man that will be greatly missed. Hard to belive you are gone...think about you all the time! We appreciate all you did for us...you have no idea what it meant! WE MISS YOU and always will!!!!

Danny was a kind man with a comfortable, easy way about him and a great laugh. He was thoughtful in always taking time to ask about member's children and special events in their lives. I was saddened at the passing of Danny. He always had my back when I may have billed something incorrectly. He was always quick to fix my mistakes. He was great at his job, but he was a much greater person. I always enjoyed going up to his office just to talk to him. I will miss him.

Michael and Eddie, "Friends are friends forever If the Lord's the Lord of them And a friend will not say never Cause the welcome will not end Though it's hard to let you go In the Fathers hands we know That a lifetimes not to long To live as friends." I believed these are words that Danny lived by. Once Danny met you that was it. You were instantly a friend of his for live. I met Danny in December of 1980 and that was it. A friend for life. Danny even touched those who never met him. I remember when we went to Florida for a weekend. Danny saw a couple girls walking into their hotel room across the street from ours and the next day he had flowers delivered to their room. The card said, "Have a nice day." That was it, just "Have a nice day." With Danny everyone else came first and he came second. Danny wouldn't only give you the shirt off his back but he would wash, dry and iron it for you. My life is better for knowing him and the world is worse off without him. Danny as you know, Friends are Friends, Pals are Pals but Buddies sleep together. Danny you are a Friend, you are a Pal and you are a Buddy. I will forever hold our good times in my heart and will miss you brother. John

Like all your friends, I'm at a loss to put what I feel into words. You were a smile, a laugh, the one to hear the latest on the newest movie release. Your desk was an oasis from the rest of the world where we'd talk about the insanity of our youth or the stupidity of current events! I miss you, my friend- your smile will always be in my memory.

Dearest Danny - It has been three months since the last time we spoke on the phone and you were so thoughtful and considerate,like usual. I (we) miss you so very much! Your Goddaughter turned 18 the other day. Do you believe it! Frank and I were commenting on what you would of done for her...maybe fireworks on Lake St. Clair or backstage passes to some concert. We both realize there is no one that can fill your shoes. You made everyone feel like they were the most important person in your world! Your love for us was a glimpse of Gods own love. Dear Tuladzleck family, I didn't know Dan that well, but had a relationship w him during his years at Oakland Hills CC. Dan would go out of his way to come talk to me, ask me how I was doing, etc, and truly made me and everyone around him feel welcomed. Dan will be truly missed by myself, along w every member at Oakland Hills CC. Hopefully, we can set up a wonderful memorial fund for Dan, and pray that he is with us at Oakland everyday. Will miss seeing you everyday DANNY! RIP.

Eddie & Mike, my family's hearts and thoughts are with you. Your brother was a living example of what I want my kids to grow up to be... what I want myself to grow up to be. Kind of heart, strong of spirit -- we are all blessed to have been touched by his life. I wish I could be there to share the hundreds of memories and "Danny stories" with you all. Though I was not fortunate enough to be anointed one of the "Magnificent Seven", I will always be proud to have called Danny my dear friend for over thirty years. Rest well, buddy.
