David A. Motyka, age 53 of Rochester Hills, died November 10, 2011 at home. David was born July 24, 1958 in Detroit to Leonard and Joan (nee: Bara) Motyka. David grew up in Warren graduating from Cousino High School in 1976 before attending Michigan State University.David had a love for sports especially playing baseball and golf. When he was not able to go out and play sports, he was sure to catch a baseball game or hockey game on T.V. As much as he enjoyed watching or playing these sports they did not compare to the joy he received in coaching his daughter Jenna in softball.Mr. Motyka was a beloved father of Jenna and Rachel. He was a dear son of Leonard and Joan Motyka. Loving brother of Raymond, Nancy and Steven. Beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Motyka will be held Tuesday from 3-9pm with a 7:30pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile Road). Mr. Motyka will lie in state 11am Wednesday until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30am at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church. Please share memories of David at his guestbook.
