David Repokis

David Repokis, age 82 a resident of Washington Township, and formerly of Warren died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. David was born August 08, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Jacob Repokis and the late Mary (nee: Kissel) Repokis. Mr. Repokis was raised in Detroit and later would serve his country in the United State Navy. Following his military service David returned to the Detroit area and went to work. He worked for different companies before settling at General Dynamics where he worked and retired as a manager.When Mr. Repokis was not working he truly was a family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. His other passion in life was simply fishing.David Repokis is survived by his beloved wife Lillian, and his children David Repokis, Mari-Beth Repokis Rex, Daryl (Karen) Repokis, and Donald Repokis. Also surviving are his dear grandchildren, Danielle, Michelle, David, Tommy, Taryn, Jacob, and Jack.A Memorial Service and Celebration Luncheon will be held Sunday December 4th, 2011 at Cherry Creek Golf Club and Banquet Center, 5200 Cherry Creek Drive (24 Mile Rd. East of Van Dyke). The Repokis Family will receive guests at 12 Noon. Services will begin at 1pm. Arrangements entrusted to D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, Warren, MI.
