David John Wachter

David John Wachter, age 66, a longtime resident of Detroit and recently of Warren, died January 19, 2014 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren Michigan. David was born June 5, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late John N. Wachter, and the late Laura D. (nee: VanLerberghe) Wachter. Mr. Wachter was raised in Detroit and would later serve his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Mr. Wachter returned to Detroit and went to work for Chrysler Motors. David would work and retire within the Skilled Trades as a Machine Repairman for Chrysler.David Wachter was the beloved son of the late John and Laura Wachter, and brother of Daniel Wachter. He is the dear uncle of Christy (Lindsay) Luceus, Diana (Ron) Suarez, and the late John and Joey. Visitation for Mr. Wachter will be Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 4-8pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road). Funeral Services will be held Thursday, 11am at the funeral home. Entombment, with Naval Military Honors, will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Please share memories of David at his memory book.
