Dean Charles Scanlin

Dean Charles Scanlin, age 74, of Troy, Michigan passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Dean was born in Detroit and grew up in the Metro Detroit area. After high school, Dean went on to complete his training at the Dearborn Trucking School. He started his career as a logistics driver for several automotive companies until he worked his way up to becoming a buyer for Hollywood Produce. Dean also served as the union steward for the Teamsters. In his leisure time, he enjoyed riding his Harley on the open road with many different riding groups in the area. Most importantly, Dean enjoyed being a father and taking care of his only son, Damon. Dean will forever be missed by his friends and family. Dean was the former husband of Marleen Fiantaco and loving father of Damon Scanlin. Arrangements entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren.
