Passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving family.
Debbie was the beloved wife of John Knisel for 55 wonderful years, a loving mother to Paula and Jacquelyn Knisel, and the cherished Grammie to Shelby Knisel and Julian Joseph. Her family was her greatest joy, and she leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will remember her fondly.
Born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on June 9, 1952, to her late parents Eugene and Eleanor McDonald. Debbie had a zest for life that she shared with everyone around her. She was known for her sharp wit, infectious sense of humor, and her genuine warmth.
Debbie enjoyed simple pleasures in life, crocheting, scrapbooking, and bowling were some of her favorite activities. A perfect day for her could always be described by a bowl of dill pickle soup and a bag of Cheetos Puffs, all while watching Judge Judy.
She will be deeply missed by her family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
