Delia Mattarelli

Born in Detroit to the late Michael and Maria, Delia loved her family more than anything. A collector of teapots and a lover of shopping, Delia could frequently be found combing the isles at JC Penney’s and Macy’s. She would also often help her husband Antonio in the gardens and in the evening to relax Wheel of Fortune was always on. Family remembers dearly her making pasta, the wonderful aromas from her kitchen, and times spent together sharing memories around the dinner table. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, Delia will be missed dearly.

Beloved wife of the late Antonio for 48 years. Loving mom of Denise (Steve) Embree, Anthony Mattarelli, and Marco Mattarelli. Cherished grandma of Katie (Patrick) Daly, Christina (Dan) Nath, Sabrina (Alex) Mati, Joseph Mattarelli. Devoted great-grandmother of 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her dog Sophie and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday, February 19th from 2pm until 8pm with a 7pm Rosary at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren. Delia will lie Instate Monday, February 20th at 11:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 12pm at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Saint Clair Shores.
