The young couple began their marriage in Hamtramck and later moved to the burgeoning community of Warren, Michigan in 1959 to raise a family.Over the years, Delphine held various part-time jobs from working with her sister-in-law catering to working at J.C. Penney's as a sales clerk. Her most coveted job was to be a "Stay at Home Mom" raising her children and caring for the home. Delphine would ease into her day with two cups of coffee and oatmeal with fruit, but by 10am she was raring-to-go. Delphine was an avid reader, and also loved to bowl... just recently bowling a 255 game. She was passionate about her family and cherished her grandchildren.Time away from her home was usually spent at the cottage on Higgins Lake or traveling with Bernie to visit the grandchildren or other family members. Delphine was steeped in her Catholic faith and prayed from her prayer book daily. Before the closing of her beloved St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Delphine and Bernie were consistent and active members, always there lending a hand at the many church activities. Delphine was a lifetime member of the Ladies Guild, volunteered for the Rummage Sales, and also provided baked goods for the bake sales. Additionally, Delphine attended many Catholic retreats in Oxford, Michigan where she would reflect and further enhance her spirituality and devotion to her faith. She walked the life of a Christian, always with a smile on her face and love in her heart...she will be tremendously missed by all whom she touched.Delphine was the beloved wife of Bernard, and was the loving mother of Annette (Robert) Pocica, Carolyn (John) Tatge, Michelle (Richard) Guzzo, and the late Brian Wozniak.
