

Dennis Eugene Brown, age 66 of Roseville died Sunday August 4th, 2013 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Dennis and his twin sister Denise Elaine Brown were born on March 9, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Henry and Ruth Brown. Dennis moved to Detroit in 1951. Dennis attended Detroit Public Schools. He did a stint for the United States Postal Service. Dennis decided to become a student of human nature, where he eventually obtained a PhD in life.Dennis was very intelligent. He loved reading books and was very well read in geography, history and nature. Dennis loved listening to music, jazz and R&B being among his favorites. He was a care-free person with a colorful character and a beautiful spirit. If you really knew Dennis, then you loved him. If you knew him a little; then you liked him a lot. He was so interesting that you really wanted to get to know him. Dennis was not blessed with the union of marriage or children but in his later years of life met his "Butterfly", Nancy Cardamone, and was able to spread his wings along with his special companion. He was happy, enjoying and living his life to the fullest. He was the master of his fate and the captain of his soul. Dennis acknowledged Christ at an early age and kept his faith and belief until the end of his life.Dennis left this earth August 4, 2013. Predeceasing him were; his parents, Henry and Ruth Brown; twin sister Denise Brown; and brother, Dr. Allen Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings; Ernest (Evelyn) Brown of Chicago, IL., Debra (Ronie) Spencer, and Michael Brown of Augusta, Georgia, Linda Brown of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Kimberley Brown-Johnson of Detroit, Michigan, and his companion, Nancy A. Cardamone of Roseville, Michigan. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile), from 3-9pm with an evening Funeral Service at 8pm, reflections and family eulogies will begin at 7pm.
