Diane M. Davis

Born in La Follette, Tennesse to the late Maynard and Clara Chapman, Diane fought lung cancer bravely for 24 years. Diane loved her family dearly. Some of her fondest memories were of barbecues entertaining family and friends with her husband Robert. Diane talked to her siblings regularly, and stayed especially close to her brother Harley, and sisters Betty and Louise her whole life. Her garden was always lush with a variety of different flowers in full bloom along with the various plants she kept indoors as well. Diane took great joy in the day to day tending of her garden. In her free time, Diane could be found working on a puzzle. Diane will be missed dearly by all who survive her.

Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving mom of Steve (Amelia) Davis. Dear grandma of Steven Davis Jr., Nathan Davis, and Julia Davis. Caring great-grandma of Paisley. Beloved sister of Louise, James Harley, the late Mary Lou, Betty Sue, Paul, Tom and Alonzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, February 7th from 4pm until 8pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road in Warren. Burial to take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601, are appreciated.
