Diana (Diane) Lynn Kruk (nee Kudla), age 63, of Warren, Michigan, passed away on May 5, 2021. Diane was born on December 19, 1957, in Hamtramck, Michigan, to her loving parents Stanley and Dolores Kudla.
Diane attended Our Lady Queen of Apostles Elementary School and St. Ladislaus High School in Hamtramck. She earned an Associate Degree at Macomb Community College. Diane met the love of her life, Richard, when they were both working for Essex Wire. She worked as a secretary, and he was a draftsman. In 1979, a few years after they met, they married and raised two children. Her family meant the world to her and spending time with them was what she loved most. Their family dinners at home were just as special as their dinners out. Everyone looked forward to her meals, especially her sauerkraut and her famous homemade cheesecake for dessert. Diane was also a tremendous help to her parents and spent her time taking them on their errands and to doctor appointments. On special occasions and family reunions, she loved seeing her siblings, cousins, and extended family. When her daughter Katie moved to Maryland to attend medical school, she could not wait to jump in the car or fly on a plane and visit. When she was relaxing at home, she would put on the best old programs, Mr. Ed, Bewitched, etc., or maybe just a good gameshow. Days of our Lives was her favorite soap opera. She also enjoyed playing cards such as Pinochle and Euchre with her husband and children.
Diane will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Richard Kruk, and their two caring children Richard Kruk Jr. and Katie Kruk. She is also survived by her loving parents Stanley and Dolores Kudla, her treasured siblings Bob (Wanda) Kudla, Frank Kudla, and Sue Kudla. She will be remembered by her Aunts, Uncle, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
