

Dianna Patricia Pennington Dean, age 59 of Warren, died December 10, 2013 at her home in Warren, surrounded by her loving family. Dianna was born on February 17, 1954 in Collinwood, Tennessee, daughter of Andrew and Regina (nee: Holden) Jones. Dianna's greatest treasure was being the loving mother of her children Carlos Pennington, Barbara Smith, and John Quakenbush. Raising her children is what gave Dianna the greatest joy in life. In her spare time, Dianna loved to watch game shows and soap operas. She especially loved reading romance novels and watching the infamous love movie "Gone With The Wind". Dianna had a knack for shopping and enjoyed visiting her mother back in Indiana. Those who knew Dianna well knew that she loved to work. She was not one to sit around, but instead was extremely passionate about her work! Whether it was working in the medical field or raising her children, Dianna put her whole heart and soul into her work.Dianna's greatest gift in this life was her family. She loved to spend time with her children and her grandchildren. No matter what was going on, Dianna always had time for her grandchildren!Dianna Patricia Pennington Dean is survived by her loving husband John Dean. She is the loving mother of Carlos (Mary) Pennington, Barbara (Willie) Smith, and John Quakenbush and the dearest grandmother of Wee Willie, Jr. Smith, Angelee Smith, Troy Pennington, Pakal Pennington, and Michael Smith. Dianna is also survived by her loving brothers Barry Height, Michael Height, and Paul Height, as well as her mother Regina Hyatt. She is predeceased by her father Andrew Jones. Visitation for Dianna will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren. Interment follows at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit. Please share memories of Dianna at her memory book.
