Dolores Bodnariuk

Dolores “Lola” Bodnariuk, age 91, of Warren, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. She was born on March 29, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, to her loving parents, Jesus and Marcelina (nee. Maldomado) Bodnariuk.

Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Alex Bodnariuk, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and countless cherished memories.

She was the loving mother of Alex (Marianne) Bodnariuk and Andrew (Cheryl) Bodnariuk. Dolores was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jacqueline, Alexandra (Erik), Michelle, Brandon (Courtney), and Autumn, and a cherished great-grandmother to Riley. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Mary Lou Calderon and Sue Pershon along with many other loving family members and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

Dolores found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time in her garden, browsing garage sales, and searching for special treasures while antiquing. Some of her fondest memories were made at the family cottage in Hammond Bay, Michigan, where she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the local casinos, where she never minded donating a couple of dollars in hopes of a little good luck.

Above all, Dolores will be remembered for her love of family, her warm spirit, and the many special moments she shared with those around her. Her life was filled with love, laughter, and memories that will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love will continue through the generations of family she leaves behind.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093.

Dolores will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Alex, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
