

Dorille M. Budny "Dee", Age 88, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Dee was born July 27, 1929 in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late John and the late Leona Savoy.Dee and her family would eventually move to the United States and settle in Royal Oak, Michigan. It is there that she attended and graduated from St. Mary's High School. Following her schooling, Dee went to work at the SS Kresge Department Store, and later with the Chrysler Motors Corporation where she served as a secretary.In 1953, Dee married Harry Budny and together they raised five wonderful children. She was an active member of St. Martin de Porres Parish since 1962, proudly serving beside her fellow ladies of the Active Christian Women's Club. Among the many venues that kept her active and involved, Dee was honored to have served as a Stephen Minister (for over 8 years), a Bereavement Minister, a member of the church's Funeral Choir, and made baptismal robes for the babies being baptized. Relaxing time for Dee was spent being surrounded by her loving family, reading, crocheting, attending daily Mass, going on trips, and enjoying dinner with her friends.Dee was the beloved wife of the late Harry, and the dear mother of David (Lisa) Budny, John (Kara) Budny, Annette (Dan) Lepri, Brian (Cindy) Budny, and the late Gregory Budny. She was also the loving grandmother Gregory Jr., Tony (Lauren) Stout, Amber, Brianna, Mark, Jason, Olivia (Brad) Budny Bartz, Sarah, Rebecca, Hannah, Logan, and great-grandmother of Katerina, Layla, and Ella. Further survivors include many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Dee was predeceased by her sister Jeanette Cagle.Visitation for Mrs. Budny will be held Wednesday, September 6th from 3-9 pm, with a 3:30 pm ACWC Rosary Service and a 7 pm Scripture Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd.) in Warren. Mrs. Budny will lie In state on Thursday from 11:30 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Warren. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Reverend Fr.
