Earl was born and raised in Detroit where he worked as a tool and die maker. Earl had a knack for being able to fix or do any household repair like plumbing or carpentry. He was known to be very meticulous in everything he did and was always very well organized. These were important traits to have as Earl loved to work on model trains. He would travel all over, take photographs of the scenery, and come home to recreate by hand the beautiful landscapes his trains could ride throughout. Earl also enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing, and anything outdoors. You could often find him outside tending to his garden of roses and raising his finches. In his leisure time inside, Earl enjoyed listening to an array of music or laying on the couch watching a soap opera with his favorite snack-- ice cream or any chocolate treat. Most of all, Earl loved spending time with his loving family. Earl will forever be missed and his memory will be treasured by his family and friends.
Earl was the beloved husband of the late Wanda. Loving father of Charles (Karen) LaMont, Michele (David) Ostrowski, Renee Bodell and loving stepfather of Scott (Peggy) Alberts, Kevin Alberts, and Eric (Liz) Alberts. Cherished grandfather of Melissa (Nate), Andy, Joseph, Andrea, James, Madeline (Racthle), Michael (Cassie) Alberts, Nicole (Ian) Donnelly, and Lauren (Dylan) Wilson. Adored great-grandfather of Sophia, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Juliet, Ericalynn, and Audrina.
Visitation for Earl will be held Thursday, April 27th from 3-6pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI.
