Edward grew up in Detroit, Michigan and proudly graduated from Southeastern High School. He later married the love of his life, Anna. Together they shared more than 40 years of marriage before her passing on December 28, 2020.
Edward was the loving father of the late Allen Ladendorf. He was the cherished brother of Karen (Fred) Craig; dear uncle of Dr. Douglas (Freida) Craig and Dennis (Michelle) Craig; and proud great-uncle of Alex and MacKenzie Craig. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and neighbors who became family along the way.
If there was one thing Edward knew how to do, it was find a hobby. He spent much of his life developing film and had a genuine passion for photography. He enjoyed capturing the world around him, tending to his garden, and watching birds. His curiosity led him to many unique hobbies and interests, and he was always willing to learn, tinker, explore, or simply see where the next adventure might take him.
Edward was also a wonderful supporter of Anna and her hobbies. Together, they created a home that was never short on personality, or pets. Over the years, they cared for birds, cats, and ferrets.
Edward will be remembered for his curious nature, his many interests, his love of photography and nature, and his ability to enjoy life in his own wonderfully unique way. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, photographs, stories, and the many people and animals who were lucky enough to share a little piece of his world.
A private burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
