Edward was the beloved husband of Catherine Seman, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. He was a proud godfather to Kristina Welicki, a loving brother to James Seman, and brother-in-law to Bernie Champine. He is also survived by his nephews, BJ and Norman Champine, and his stepfather, Vince Buffa. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Deborah Ann Champine.
Edward was a graduate of Osborn High School in Detroit. A man of great intelligence, he was an avid reader from a young age, even reading encyclopedias for enjoyment. He loved NASCAR and followed the sport with passion throughout his life.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
