Edward dedicated 44 years to education as a teacher in parochial schools, leaving a lasting impact on countless students. He was also a passionate coach, leading nearly every sport from volleyball to track. One of his greatest joys was coaching his daughter Heather as she grew up. He treasured simple traditions and meaningful moments. Edward and Heather shared a special Friday-night ritual of popcorn and scary movies. In their younger years, Edward and Donna loved traveling out west, camping in Yellowstone and visiting America’s beautiful scenic parks. In recent years, their adventures shifted “up north” to Michigan, where they made treasured memories with their grandchildren at the Huron KOA.
When Edward was at home, one of the things he enjoyed the most was watching the Chicago White Sox play. He was a lifelong fan. Christmas was Edward’s favorite time of year. He was an avid collector of Hallmark ornaments and proudly displayed several themed Christmas trees throughout his home including a beloved Disney tree.
