
Eileen E. Dalton, age 85, a resident of Warren for over 20 years, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Henry Ford Hospice Residence at Bortz Nursing Home in Warren Michigan. Eileen, was born Eileen Eurella Riggs, October 9, 1922 in Pocahontas, Arkansas the daughter of the late Rev. Charles E. Riggs and the late Eva (nee: Dawson) Riggs. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ocil Dalton. She is the loving mother of Dr. Jacqueline Dalton, Larry (Pamela) Dalton, and Bradley Dalton. Dearest grandmother of Deanna (Edward) Catenac, Grat Dalton, Tiffany (Michael) Haley, Nissa Dalton, Brandi (Jeremy) Hartwell, Char (Royce) Somes, and Chad (Jenny) Dalton. Great grandmother of Edward Catenac, Jacob Catenac, Erin Haley, Ryan Haley, Ella Hartwell, Reese Hartwell, and Bradley Somes. Sister of Raymond, Lehman, James, Dwight, Lena, Madoline, Geneva, Betty Jo, and Dorothy. Eileen was predeceased by her sister Ernestine Riggs and her grandson Bradley Dalton. After Eileen graduated from high school she married the love of her life in November 30, 1941. Eileen and her husband, Ocil lived in Hazel Park for a few years, and had 3 beautiful children. They moved around a few times before settling in Warren. During Eileens life she enjoyed gardening as many would say she had quite the green thumb. She loved sewing and making beautiful quilts. She was also a Sunday school teacher for several years in Hazel Park and in Royal Oak. Mrs. Dalton also loved spending time with her family and friends. Visitation for Eileen will be Sunday from 4-9 pm and Monday 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 Mile). Eileen will lie in State Tuesday10:00 am at Warren Woods Church of the Nazarene Church until time of her Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Celebrating the Funeral will be Rev. Thomas Hoppy.
