Eileen Margaret Kennedy

Eileen Margaret Kennedy, age 72 of Warren, died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at McLaren-Macomb Hospital after a lengthy illness. Eileen was born November 9, 1941 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to Leo & Eva Helen (nee: Farr) Kennedy. Eileen moved to Michigan in 1965 at the young age of 24 years old. After securing a job at Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe Farms, she would go on to spend the next 29 years working in their housekeeping department and helping to keep everything spic & span for the patients and staff alike. Throughout her journey, Eileen was a simple woman who appreciated the most precious of life's blessings,...the people in her life. She lived with the goal and desire of making her loved ones happy and spending as much time with her family as she could,...as well as her close and treasured friends. And that she did,...managing to create some special and warm memories along the way, too. Besides the deep love and affection Eileen showed to her family & friends, she also had a soft spot in her heart for cats. Eileen was the devoted mother of Brian Zbrzyski and Christine (William) Peppers. A loving sister of Maureen (Harry) Andry, Patrick Kennedy, and the late Michael Kennedy. Sister in law of Jean Kennedy. Beloved Grandmother of Timothy and Daniel Cockerham. Visitation for Eileen will be held on Thursday, September 4th from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 ½ Mile), in Warren. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am on Friday at the funeral home.
