

Esther Ann Haddad passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on January 26, 1948 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Esther was the beloved daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Tur. At a young age, she and her family relocated to Detroit, Michigan, where she was raised and later graduated from St. Martin High School.
From an early age, Esther was known for her strong work ethic and determination. She took great pride in staying active and dedicated much of her life to her career. So, for 35 years, she was a cherished member of the team at Andiamo Restaurant in Warren, Michigan. She truly enjoyed serving her loyal regulars, welcoming new guests, and building lasting friendships with the many people whose lives she touched through her warmth and kindness .She truly thought of the owners, managers and the staff as her second family and loved going to work every day.
Esther will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, generous heart, and unwavering Catholic faith, she kept a 2 rosary's and 2 crucifixes in every room in her home. She found joy in caring for others and was always ready with a smile, making those around her feel welcome and valued.
She was the loving sister of Elizabeth Schiavi and the late John "Jack" Tur. Dear aunt of Senta McCurry, Monica, and Jason, and the proud great-aunt of Christian, Joshua, Jayden, and many other beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Esther's memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a future date. Details will be announced when they become available.
