Eusebia "Abing" C. Cruz

Born in Hagonoy, Bulacan in the Philippines, Eusebia enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for them above anything else. A seamstress by trade, Eusebia was a talented dress maker. She had a devoted clientele for her skills, and she also had family and friends who were frequently asking when they could get her to make one of her beautiful dresses for them as she was known to also give some of her sewing as gifts. Eusebia was an excellent cook. She measured all the ingredients with her heart; she always knew just the right amount of spices and ingredients so every meal was delicious. Family especially looked forward to the meal she would make after church every Sunday when everyone would come over to her house to be together. She was endlessly supportive of her family for their achievements in life and never missed an important milestone for them. After the passing of her beloved husband Aquilino after 35 years of marriage, Eusebia came to Michigan on 2014 to be with her children, and they cherished those years when they could be together. Even still she visited her family at home in Philippines as often as she could and loved them dearly. Eusebia will be dearly missed by all who survive her.

Loving wife of the late Aquilino to whom she wed January 26, 1969. Beloved mom of Avelino (Dorotea), Joaquin (Cherry), Ariel (Christy), Anna Linna (Edgar), Agnes (Cedric), Aileen (Eduard). Loving Nanay of John-John, Ezekiel, Jonathan, CJ, Aleah, JJ (Jenny), Ethan, Crisanto, Alyna, Jao and her great grandson Yoah. Cherished sister of Rosario (the late Paterno), Cristina (the late Ramon), Rodolfo (Patty), Danilo (Editha), Noli (Belle), the late Alberto (Margie), and the late Elena. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday, June 21st from 2pm until 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088. Monday, June 22nd viewing at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042, beginning at 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10am.

Visitation Sunday, June 21st from 2pm until 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088. Monday, June 22nd viewing at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48315), beginning at 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10am.

Eusebia will be laid to rest at Manila Memorial Park Cemetery in Plaridel, Bulacan in the Philippines at a later date.
