In telling the story of Fred, his life can be summarized in two definitive phrases...always seeking the joy of simple pleasures & sharing in the love of family. Though the stories within each are plentiful, it all came down to the importance of loved ones and living simply. In his reflections, Fred's grandson recalled a quote by one of America's renowned folk singer's who wrote; "Any darn fool can make something complicated,...it takes a genius to make life simple." And Fred was just that kind of genius! Without question, the simplicity and love that guided Fred's path was also the reason that he was blessed to enjoy a storehouse of wonderful memories throughout life.
