Gary G. Parr, 66, of Sterling Heights, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at his home. He was born September 8, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Ernest and the late Blanche (nee: Lisaius) Parr. Gary served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Gary retired from Chrysler. He was also a member of VFW Post 9222. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, playing cards especially poker, and darts. Gary is survived by his children, Jeffrey, Christopher, Catherine Glebosky, and Janiece Glebosky; grandchildren, Krista, Kayla, Breanna, Austin, Anthony, and Caitlyn; and sister, Janice Parr. Visitation for Gary will be Sunday 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 Mile). A Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Monday at the Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jerry Weinzierl. Interment will take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Please share memories at Gary's guestbook.
