Genevieve grew up outside of Windsor, Canada, where she studied to become a radiologic technologist. Her career eventually brought her to Michigan, where she began working at a hospital and met the love of her life, Raymond. The two quickly hit it off, married, and began a life together. Genevieve later became a proud U.S. citizen.
Together, Genevieve and Raymond raised three sons, creating a loving home filled with family, laughter, and countless memories. Her medical knowledge certainly came in handy over the years, especially when her boys inevitably found their way to the hospital with a broken bone or two.
Genevieve found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved cooking for her family, traveling on family vacations, and tending to her garden. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved dogs, Duke, Skip, and Ari.
Above all, Genevieve was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her love, warmth, and caring nature touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will remain with her family for generations to come. Genevieve will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
Genevieve was the beloved wife of the late Raymond. Loving mother of Michael, Norman (Elise), and Joseph (Kara). Adored grandmother of Isaak, Eleanor, Olivia, Gabrielle, Archer, and Abilene. Dear sister of Catherine Gino. Predeceased by her siblings Str. Illene Drouillard and Gerald (Margaret) Drouillard.
Visitation for Genevieve will be held on Friday, August 21st from 3-8pm with a 7pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road).
