Genevieve T. Gierak, age 91, of Washington, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Beloved wife of 68 years to Frank S. Gierak; cherished mother of the late Peter Gierak, Andrew (Linda) Gierak, and Jennifer Leutzinger; loving grandmother of Andrea (Ken), Anna, Melissa, Andrew, James (Nora), John (Regina), Christian, Peter, Aaron, and Bridgette; and dear sister to 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. rosary, Sunday, March 19, 2023 at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd., Warren, MI. Genevieve will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2023 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 14 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, MI.
