Genevieve Mae Polk, age 92 of Sterling Heights, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, just one day shy of her birthday. She passed peacefully at home while under the compassionate care of the professional staff at Beaumont Hospice. Genevieve was the beloved wife of the late William, and dearest mother of Gerrie Mae Woods, Donna (Jerry) Martinson, Thomas Polk, Jim Polk, Larry (Lisa) Polk, Bill Polk, and the late Darlene Rjasko. Genevieve was the loving grandmother of 25, great-grandmother of 39, and great-great grandmother of 4. She was also the former mother-in-law & friend of Carol. Visitation for Genevieve will be held Sunday, April 29th from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. She will lie in state on Monday from 11:00 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Road in Warren.
