George A. Calvet, age 66 of Clinton Township, died Wedenesday, October 15, 2003 at his home, surrounded by his family. Born on September 2, 1937 to George & Julia Calvet in Detroit, MI. George attended St. Rose of Lima in Detroit, Assumption High School in Windsor, and received his bachelors from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. After college, he received an honorable discharge from the Air Force after serving six years in the reserves. George was an avid golfer, had a passion for classic cars, enjoyed all sports, and loved to travel with his family. Funeral Services will begin Monday 10:00 am in state visitation at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, 31601 Schoenherr Road, until time of funeral Liturgy 10:30 am. Visitation Saturday 5-9 pm and Sunday 1-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common, (12 mile). Prayer Service Sunday 7pm.
