Gerald Stanley Kikos

Born and raised in Detroit, Gerald was a Detroiter through and through. He served in the United States Navy aboard the Leyte for 7 years. Gerald was a proud member of his union, Local 299. He loved gardening, warm summer days, and a cold beer or glass of wine. Most of all he loved his grandkids! Gerald had 18 grandchildren and they blessed him with 29 great-grandchildren who were the joy of his life. Gerald will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

Gerald is survived by Marjorie Overton, Michelle Adkins, Ronald Schultz, Kimberly Schultz, Joseph Kikos, Eric Goff, and Melissa Flanagan. He was predeceased by Rene Kikos, Jerry Kikos, Dean Schultz, his sisters Dorothy and June Kikos, and his parents Joseph Lawrence Kikos II and Marjorie Kikos.

Visitation for Gerald will be held Wednesday, October 25th from 10am-1pm at the D.S Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI. He will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at 2:30pm.
