Born and raised in Sanilac County, Gerald was a man known for his strong will and determination, unwavering work ethic, and quiet strength. He spent more than 30 years working for Roadway Express Trucking before enjoying a well-earned retirement.
Gerald had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed many trips on the open roads. He was also a devoted Ford enthusiast, especially when it came to Shelby Mustangs. His love for those iconic cars was so great that he named his beloved Yorkie mix, Shelby, after them.
Above all else, Gerald was a proud father and grandfather. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandsons, Jacob and Owen, and was incredibly proud of the young men they were becoming. They were always in his thoughts. The love he had for his family, along with his loyal companion Shelby, brought him his greatest happiness.
Gerald had 4 children, Michelle, Kimberly and Jeanette and was preceded in death by his son, Paul. He was the devoted grandfather of Jacob Michael and Owen Robert. Dear brother of Thomas Oswald and the late Mary Stephenson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12½ Mile Road), Warren.
