Geraldine Fay Ledesma

Geraldine Fay Ledesma, age 77 died September 10, 2012 at her home in Warren. Geraldine was born May 29, 1935 in Detroit Michigan the daughter of the late Julius Michael Panda and the late Selma (nee: Karvonen) Panda. She was raised in Detroit and graduated from Chadsey High School in Detroit.Geraldine married and became a 'stay at home' mom where she raised her children in a loving home. After her children were grown Geraldine returned to the work force as an executive secretary with St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren. Geraldine was an avid Detroit sports fan who loved the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, and Lions. She also had a passion for reading especially her Bible.While at home with her family Geraldine enjoyed tending to her garden of flowers and vegetables. She also played the piano and enjoyed all music along with favoring the arts. During the summers Mrs. Ledesma would take her children on treks to different parts of the United States. Traveling by car and often camping, the family not only saw America but learned many lessons while traveling.Mrs. Ledesma was the loving mother of Michael Ledesma, Mark (Sharon) Ledesma, Claudia (John) Caverzagie, Keith (Gail Johnson) Ledesma, and Kevin (Claudia) Ledesma. She was the cherished niece of Saima Salton, and beloved sister of Charlotte (Al) Bailey, and Marilyn (Ernie) Neufeld. She is also survived by her grandchildren Eric, Chelsea, Kimberly, Marc, Laura, Joshua, Joseph, Allie, Marcie, Aderin, Alexandria, Nohealani, and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday 3-9pm at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile). Funeral Services will be held Saturday 11:30am, at the Funeral Home.
