Born in Detroit, Henry overcame the health challenges he faced from birth and lived a full, happy life. Henry made it a priority to stay close with his family. Growing up they traveled to 47 states in the U.S.. Some of their favorite memories were of their trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Hawaii. He had a love for the outdoors and an even greater passion for baseball. An avid Tiger’s and Ram’s fan, Henry and the family tried to see a game on every vacation wherever they happened to be. In his lifetime, Henry traveled to 12 different stadiums. As much he enjoyed their travels, later in life when he became an uncle he found as much joy spending time with his nieces. He never missed any event for his nieces Megan and Madison. At the end of a long day he’d come home to his ever-growing collection of antique toys from different TV shows and movies, watch some baseball with his parents, and shine his ’86 Monte Carlo always parked in the driveway.
